 Through many years of experimentation and activities SVARAM offers expertise in the field of music education for all age groups, from the first beginnings of pre school play to work and collaborations with international musicians. Traditional Instruments in conventional music education need a high degree of specialization and long years of practice, whereas the creation of our new instrumentations offers an immediate contact and experiential and creative learning to everyone independent of age, talent or disposition. It is always touching to see how the simple instruments of our collection invite so many for an immediate spontaneous contact and can often very quickly create a light and joyful atmosphere of free play and creative expression.

The role of sound and music in the process of growth, regeneration, healing and integration has since ancient times filled the human understanding with wonder, fascination and awe. Facing today’s world of tremendous inner, social and global challenges, it is not surprising that “the magic and healing power of sound” is rediscovered and finds expression in manifold conventional and innovative applications, from the ever present impact of the mass media to new disciplines of sound and music therapy to the reemerging of the archaic and sacred traditions.
